I'm interested to know what others have struggled with - because it can be so tough sometimes - has anyone used any good products that can help?

Thanks

My gob . I can be pretty good all day then just fancy some rubbish food in the evening.

Night times. I went through a phase of not eating/ only eating veg/fruit at night and it definitely helped but then I fell into a bowl (or two!) of cereal and some toast every night and now it’s like I lost nothing!!

I am losing weight but not as fast as I’d like. I started at 13 stone and currently struggling to get below the 11 stone mark (I’m short so my goal weight is 9stone 8) these are the obstacles that come up often :

Comfort eating / binge eating,
sweet tooth - love of baking cake and cookies and live alone so can’t easily palm them off on someone else once I’ve made them.

Also WFH, and having a sedentary job when I used to commute to work I’d walk around an average of 45 minutes a day. And when I worked with young people I’d be on my feet a lot more of the day as well as the commute.

And lack of consistency especially around my period week where I’m in such pain I feel I “deserve” to eat anything and everything.

Eating too many unhealthy snacks...

I'm a good cook and main meals are always fairly healthy and freshly cooked. I just have a weakness for mindless snacking on sugary carbs.

I've downloaded nutracheck recently and I'm logging my food, and have started following Zoe nutrition on instagram for motivation/recipe ideas. I'm not "on a diet" but I'm eating cleaner/more nutritious/more plant based.

I genuinely feel hungry all the time. I wish I didn't!

Mindless snacking. I also blame my parents for never having any treats around (seriously their cupboards and fridge are completely bare) so I didn't learn to regulate as a child. But I recognise that I need to take responsibility for my own actions as an adult.
