Hey :) I'm starting a thread for my accountability ! I am going to calorie count this summer holiday and lose a bit of weight , have something to focus on for me and to feel better :)

I'm going to post my start weight and goal next Monday where I will start my 6 week challenge :)

13 stone 1 at 5 ft 5. I am post menopausal at 57 but really want to lose weight in time for my holiday at the end of summer.

I have underlying health issues that are exacerbated by my weight, and make it very hard for me to exercise (mobility problems) so it’s diet alone rather than diet and exercise for me.

I have about 3 stone to lose, trying to work out how I can fit running round the DC's holiday clubs Confused

I weighed this morning .. 15:1 and 5ft 6 .
Going to start calorie counting from today while my head is in it .

I'm just going to cc , I do about 10k steps , don't have time for the gym unfortunately , one day when my babies are a bit older :) xx

I have been eating 2 boiled eggs every morning and 1 slice of toast. I read that increasing your protein intake stops hunger. It's working for me.

Ah yes that sounds perfect :) I'm excited to get back on it :) I gain so much weight in pregnancy!! X

I need to be here! Been trying to lose the last half stone for a year. I'm 5 3" and 11.3lbs. In 2018 I was 10.8lbs and that was perfect. I'm almost 51 so I have realistic expectations. I do two gym classes per week, was supposed to compliment that with running but the recent weather has put me off! I'm calorie counting so will report back later. Just had an omelette and made up a jug of peppermint tea.

Good luck to you all! I must say i tried so much last yr and got no where. I'm older and weight loss is harder at my age. This yr because of a bad gallbladder i had to go on to a low fat diet (all fat below 3% and sat fat below 1.5%), i lost a stone in a month (12st to 11st). Low fat isn't popular, current diets are high protein and high fat, but it was low fat that finally shifted my weight.

Goodluck everyone! I was 10 stones 12 this morning (eaten loads and binged today so who knows whst I am today) I comfort eat a lot. I am 5 foot 1 so considered overweight right now. Goal is to get to 9 stones 12.

How many calories you eat depends on your current weight/height, how much activity you do, how fast you want to loose weight.

E.g. at 5ft 2 and 14 stone, moderately active to loose 1lb a week my fitness pal has put me at 1900kcal

I really want to be in the 13's by the end of summer ... when the kids go back to school . Start 15:1 and goal 13:13 :) .... just wanted to put my little goal out there xx

Could I join, please? I have been 16/8 intermittent fasting/MFP since June and have lost 13lbs so far. However, I have a lot to lose and don't want to ruin it over the 6 weeks holidays.

My plan is to try and be as active as possible with the kids whilst I've not got the stress of work.

Original start weigh (June) 15st 9lbs

Current weight 14st 10lbs

Target weight: 10st

Hi can I join.
I started in May and lost half a stone by restricting/omitting some meals, but the weight is creeping back on. I'm currently 11.1.
5.6ft hight

Today I've eaten
B/fast - tea (was late for work)
Lunch- 1 toast with 5 slices bree cheese and jelly. Portion. On melon fruits.
Snack - ham sandwich/brown bread + 2 glasses wine
Tea - salad is planned

How is everyone doing? Are you tracking your weight? Should I be?

Ah i skipped tea as its too hot (41 degrees here) big mistake as I ended up grazing and then a friend popped round with wine. Gah! I'm frightnend to weigh myself. I'm starting to self sabotage because I wS so close to my goal. Anyone else do this?

Don't know whether people continued on this thread but it's end of the month and I'm back to work tomorrow 😪

I weighed 14st 4lbs this morning. Really wanted to get to 14st 2lb and my 1.5 stone this month, but I didn't quite make it. However, I am reminding myself that a 6lbs loss over the summer holidays is definitely a success. Back to routine tomorrow and hoping for a slim September 😊

Original start weight: 15st 9lbs

June loss: 5.5lbs
July loss: 8.5lbs
Aug loss: 5lbs

Total loss to date: 1st 5lbs.
