Gone off food

For over a year, I have slowly gone off foods I enjoyed. I live off chicken nuggets, some ready meals, super noodles and packets of savoury rice. Then binge on chocolate and cakes if I can't be bothered to make anything savoury. I have tried making food, every now and then and still don't enjoy them. Has anyone gone through this? What did you do?

Do you cook for your family? Or do you live alone?

So sorry if this is a super personal question but how are you feeling emotionally? When I was at my lowest this is how I felt. I just didn't have the energy or motivation to put effort or thought into food. I grabbed what was easy or what I craved.

Don't be hard on yourself. Life is hard! Enjoy the little things but remember that you're the main character to your story. You deserve to be happy

I live alone and have suffered from mental illness all my life. But I don't think this is mental health, and I have a variety of medical conditions, but the different health departments don't liaise with the others. My GP isn't much help. I can not stand oranges, bananas, yoghurts, curries, or mushrooms, as these would have been a basic staple of my meals/snacks. I know I am in the age group for perimenopause/menopause, but I can't see if this is a condition of that. Also, most of my medical symptoms are the same for several of my conditions and menopause, so it's hard to tell what the symptom is related to. I have no help, apart from a CPN that isn't bothered about my physical health, even though it is impacting my mental health.
