IS this even possible?

I am currently nearly a stone over weight. Its been a real struggle to shift. I'm weighing myself regularly to try and motivate myself.

I have one of those scales that gives you body fat/water/ muscle percentage.

I weighed myself on Tuesday on waking- 10 stone 7lbs

I weighed myself yesterday morning, on waking and I was 10 stone 8lbs

I weighted myself this morning on waking and I was 10 stone 9.9 lbs.

I looked at my %s thinking it was water weight - but my water % went down each day, and my body fat % went up. (muscle has stayed the same).

Is it possible to put on 2 lbs of fat in 4 days??

Of course its not possible

Only weigh yourself every fortnight and stop obsessing with small percentages of stuff. The scales are probably not even that accurate at measuring the liquid/fat

Yep, the body composition analysis will be highly variable day to day depending on a whole multitude of factors.

Weigh once a week or once a fortnight to help stop obsessing about it, and to avoid demotivational day-to-day variations in the data.

Weigh every week. Your body fluctuates a lot. Also check the batteries in your scale!
