Morning everyone.
Susie and Katy - Sorry to hear that both your dhs are being rubbish. The good thing is that you both sound strong and positive too. Hope you both manage to work things out.

Fedda - I'm trying soups again this week.

Discoverlife - Don't go! Come back and chat to us.

I have had a veeeerrrryyy sleepless night. Think ds2 is going through a major growth spurt or something as he wanted feeding every 1.5 hrs last night and was feeding for so long too. I may think of weaning him soon if this keeps up.

Anyway good day yesterday - we went out for a lovely lunch and I got a lovely card from ds1 which he made at nursery.

Not so good on the diet front unfortunately. Indian take away on Sat night. Big lunch and dessert yesterday. Ooops.
I've been for a long walk this morning and amgoing to be ultra good today and tomorrow.

Here's to a good week, everyone!

fedda · 03/03/2008 11:34

MrsFish, I'm the best expert in constipation as I have it sooooo often. Try prune juice, prunes, water, good luck. You're lucky it's first time. i had it since I was 20.
Jahan, I'm cooking squash soup right now. I went to coffee shop as i couldn't resist a cup of hazelnut late with biscuits, I put on 1 kg since yesterday so I needed some treat not to cry on everybody's shoulder. Oh, I still want to cry. No, I'll be strong and go onto my soups for lunches. The weather is fantastic, must stay positive.

mylittlepudding · 03/03/2008 13:22

DD is not well. Teething diarrhoea I think but I am being a typical mother to a PFB and taking her to the doctors. I feel like a wreck - so tired, and keeping dd at home but wondering if she's actually fine and I overreacted and just feeling fragile. And I have eaten far too much. I wish I could have a good sleep. That would help a lot.

They were just 13 hour shifts thankfully Polly. I wonder if I'd have got more sleep at work though?! No, it is definitely better than the "good old days"

katylessbumpy · 03/03/2008 13:50

i'd take her to the doctors to be honest.better to have her checked over for your piece of mind.
i'm sorry you're not sleeping.
hopefully her teeth will be through soon and you can get a bit of rest.
don't worry about eating too much either.you need the extra energy when you are tired or you won't be able to function .
hope she's better soon x

Jahan · 03/03/2008 15:14

Argh! I have been eating and eating. I just can't seem to stop today. I think its definitely due to lack of sleep and feeling very tired.
Today I've had;

Porridge, coffee
3 tablespppons muesli
orange juice
banana

lunch was 1/2 covent gdn tomato soup with 1/2 can of kidney beans chucked in

(see, I was really trying to be good!)
But then;

1/4 of a packet of fruit and nut mix (about 75g, I think. Which means about 320cals)
4 fruity digestive biscuits (280 cals)
2 pieces of dark choc (about 100 cals?)

I must stop it now and eat a very slimline dinner later!

Jahan · 03/03/2008 15:21

I think I can have about 300 cals for dinner. I guess its not too bad after all.(need more cals due to ebf. Yay!)
But no more food for me now till dinner.

katylessbumpy · 03/03/2008 15:36

i like your way of thinking jahan
i've been picking all day.i want to eat crap but have resisted.i had abowl of no point soup for lunch.thank god it was in the fridge or i would have caved and eaten a big fat cheese buttie
i've also had an apple, some grapes,a pack of snack-a-jacks,2 ww biscuits,a piece of ham and a pack of ww sweets!
i'm trying to drink loads of water but i just want diet coke.i haven't got any in but might treat myself at the shop when i pick ds2 up after sports.

i'm going to make a prawn stir-fry for tea and then get on my stepper and pound out my anger lol

Well done Katy. You've stoyed in control.
I was thinking of stepper during Hollyoaks (yes, I'm a saddo who watches it ) but remembered how tired I am. I'll see how I feel later.
I need to do a shop and make some soups at home rather than buying them.

For dinner, I'm having some chicken, bit of rice and steamed veg. Should be around 300cals, I think.

LoveMyGirls · 03/03/2008 15:45

Hi, I've stayed in all day which has made me want to snack as not as busy as usual!

B-porridge/ honey
L-GFY chicken and mayo deli with loads of salad followed by a cuppa and a GFY bakewell slice
S- Apple & GFY hot choc
Dinner will be jacket pots, beans and salad!

No exercise today though I was going to walk to school but it was hailing so i asked my next door neighbour to pick dd1 up for me (and then I could stay here in the warm and drink a cuppa with mindees mum) my car wouldn't start this morning btw!

katylessbumpy · 03/03/2008 15:51

i love hollyoaks!
thats when i do my stepper as dd has a sleep at that time most nights.
i missed the one when ob left though and the omnibus yesterday.
thats my problem lovemygirls.i've been in all day.i had to catch up on the washing though.it was getting out of control

LoveMyGirls · 03/03/2008 15:53

We watch hollyoaks too jahan

Oh i stepped on my scales this morning and 1st was 10.13 I didn't believe it so got on again 11.1 then again 11.0 when I am going to learn that I only need to stand on them once oh well i'll have to wait for my proper weigh in on friday! Still I'm doing well have lost a total of 11 and a half pounds so far! Thanks for your support everyone.

We can do it! We can be thin and then we won't feel the guilt when we have nice things!

katylessbumpy · 03/03/2008 15:57

OP posts:
MrsFish · 03/03/2008 15:59

I love hollyoaks too I cried with the one with OB leaving

Well I have had a lovely lunch out with MiL and the boys were golden so it was nice and relaxing.

B = 1 weetabix with skimmed milk and 1 ww yoghurt
L = smoked salmon and sundried tomato on a pitta bread type thing with rocket and 4 fat homemade chips. Sm glass of white wine, vanilla icecream that ds left and a black coffee. Ds had some of the bread and I left some too.
D = will be a piece of fish with a side salad.

XT night tonight too, so that will be another 1/2 an hour.

fedda · 03/03/2008 16:50

my soup was awful! i bought squash and I roasted it cut in half and then took out the insides, choped it up and cooked it with carrots and Marigold bullion but the i had a crazy idea of putting some avocado in it which tasted lovely but when it was cooked it totally ruined the taste. I was still eating it but I didn't enjoy it and i'm not keeping the rest (I was going to have some tomorrow). Never mind. My own fault, shouldn't have tried to cook something i could eat raw and enjoy. probably sardines on toast for dinner with a cup of tea with 1 sugar. I had some bluberries and grapes for snack.

katylessbumpy · 03/03/2008 17:58

half an hour on my stepper
i ache and i'm out of breath but i pushed and pushed.i did the whole half hour with dumb bells and pumped my arms too!
i need a shower lol

what is it today.....the cold? AF being synchronised ax the thread? Have also been struggling with a real need for carbohydrates today.....tried to cut back on the other bits to acommodate it....but
brekkie...cornflakes
mids 2 crumpets and marmaite
lunch....tuna salad doorstop sarnie, hot cross bun
eve ....pasta and veggie sauce, pitta bread and rice pudding

still could have been even worse....dh is now on cupboard guarding duty for me!

mylittlepud...love the way you say only 13 hours...that's nearly 2 working days for most people!....add in shifts on your own with a poorly child and it's not surprising to me that you're eating to boost your energy/concentration....better that than fags/extra strong coffee....btw i think you just have to go with your gut feeling and see gps...that's what they are there for...hope she is ok...

katy next time put photos of h on the stepper and tread on him..

discoverlife are you lurking...if you are just put a balaclava on and sneak in here!

katylessbumpy · 03/03/2008 21:03

i was sweating buckets after it.i'll take photos next time but you're not borrowing my leotard

i wanted carbs all day too.a great big buttie made with white bread ,real butter and a big lump of cheese, onion and branston pickle yum

i made my stirfry but i scoffed all the prawns before hand so it was just veg lol

i have now had another pack of ww sweets.the new choc and caramel ones.i'm so glad i bought them as i would be completely of the rails.
i still want to eat though.i'm not hungry or thirsty.i just had a glass of water to check!
don't know what it is today.i'll keep posting to keep me out of the kitchen.....

susiecutiemincepies · 03/03/2008 21:59

Hi girls
So AF is being synchronised x the thread

I'm afraid I didn't start SW today after all. I had such a horrible nights sleep. Then fell asleep on the sofa this morning, to be woken up by isobel hitting me on the head with a ceramic coaster I woke up and realised we'd not had any breakfast, so we both had peanut butter and jam sarnies.

Tehn tonight I had a handul of oven chips and 2 fishfingers. SO, i've decided to start nice and fresh maybe tomorrow.... anyway, I have the books now, maybe i'm still psyching myself up to it. Not really been in the right frame of mind this last weekend so not the best time to start... I will in a day or two, for sure. I promise

katylessbumpy · 03/03/2008 22:05

it has removable furry grey knickers as well.lol
right dd is in bed so i'm off for a shower and then bed.speak tp you all in the morning.
