Liposuction/tummy tuck/other recommendations

I've come to a difficult decision that I want to have surgical intervention to remove a large amount of fat from my middle. I have a huge fatty hanging stomach that's causing me so much discomfort, and extensive dieting a exercise has helped me lose weight in every part of my body except the hanging stomach that just won't shift or change.

Anyway, I'm looking for recommendations please of what to have done and more importantly, where. I am in London but could travel somewhere.
Google searching suggests liposuction and a tummy tuck.
Has anyone has this or something alternative successfully done?
Does anyone recommend a particular place in London or elsewhere?

I haven't had this yet but am booked in to have a tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo to my flanks in August.

Im not near London but in the South West.

I would recommend researching individual Plastic Surgeons who are members of Bapras and have a good look at their qualifications first.

A consultation with a Plastic Surgeon is the best bet so they can assess you and chat about what you want to achieve and the best way to get it.

I don't know anyone who has had this, so have had to try and do research as best I can.

There seems to be an awful lot of places in and around London so may take some digging to find someone you feel confidant in.

I'm hoping (actually desperate) to have this too, but I have more weight to lose and you get the best results by being at your ideal weight.

You should also have finished having children.

How developed is the hanging bit? I think if the belly button is in the correct place a mini tummy tuck can be considered with less scarring, but if the belly button has to be moved upwards then probably a full tuck is needed.

I also saw incredible results on Reddit from a woman who had a procedure called Smartlipo, don't know if I can link to it but if you go to the plastic surgery reddit and search for Smartlipo postop it should come up, 15 days ago. Her belly button also did not need moving.

Definitely do all your research, it's major surgery compared to other procedures.

Smartlipo would be instead of a tummy tuck, I should have said.

My belly button is pretty much in the right place, it's underneath there that the stomach area hangs down. I think it's called an apron stomach. I will look up smartlipo, thanks.

There's actually a tummy tuck subreddit where there's lots of before and after photos and accounts posted by real people so not chosen by the surgeon. It's /r/tummytucksurgery

has anyone had these procedures and if so can you recommend your surgeon, share your experience.

I have considered going abroad Latvia or Czech Republic but finding it hard to find genuine reviews that give me confidence in the surgeon.
