Mirena coil, has removal helped?

I have been losing weight for around 3 months, very slowly but I have lost over a stone which I'm happy with; a long way still to go.

I had my mirena taken out just after I started watching the calories but I didn't have a replacement, I wanted to watch and wait for other reasons. Now I have decided to have another but is it likely to stall my weight loss? Make it harder?

I'm reluctant to do anything that could sabotage this as my health was really suffering, but at the same time the mirena was a game changer for uncontrollable bleeding.

Any experiences?

Are you sure it wasn’t the Mirena that made your health suffer?
It was hell for me, I felt like the walking dead, so tired all the time, anxious and depressed, aches and pains and I put on over 2 stone in the 10 months that I had it in. It actually didn’t solve my bleeding issues either, it made me bleed every day, but that’s an entirely different issue.

No, it was actually life changing but in a good way!! I didn't suffer any negative effects of having it at all. I am aware a replacement may not be so good though, so another reason maybe not to bother - it's such a gamble Sad
