Stress and weight loss

Please be kind. I'm going through a stressful divorce. It's getting nasty. I can't eat because of the stress. I eat two small meals a day (I don't want my DC to think I'm not eating as I want them to have a healthy relationship with food). But honestly, the thought of food turns my stomach. Even though I feel sick and lightheaded most of the time because I'm hungry. I don't know what to do?

Have you spoken to the Dr about your stress, they can prescribe some medication to help ease the feelings of stress and overwhelm.

Are you able to drink a milkshake do you think? Complan or ensure (there are others) do a powder you add milk to, you can get fruit ones that are pre made too like Ensure plus & Fortijuice for example. You need to force something down or you will end up at the point of collapse and unable to look after your children.

Speak to the Dr asap, I hope things get easier for you soon Flowers

Thank you. I knew in the back of my mind I should speak to a doctor but there's something about hearing it from someone else. I will try to meal milkshake things - I hadn't thought of that xx

That sounds so tough. Like the previous poster, try the shakes, but also maybe try some soup cartons that you can heat a little of ant a time and sip now and then. I hope you get some help from your GP. 💛
