Nutracheck settings

Hi all, looking for some advice please. I want to create a calorie deficit to lose 1-2lb per week. My week varies from days of being desk based at home and largely sedentary some days (working on this) to office based commuting with a gym class squeezed in. I started using Nutracheck in the last few days and love the interface and food library, but I’m torn between using the combined exercise and calories setting so I can flex for that day, or the separate with simple targets. I’m quite analytical and I’m not convinced the combined calculates enough of a deficit for me because of the 1200 floor on start calories.

I just focus on the calories and ignore the exercise aspect. If I exercise more on some days, that's a bonus, but I don't give myself any extra leeway on the calories!

Thanks Leafy, is it working for you for losing weight?

I'm sorry, I've only just seen your question! Yes, it does work for losing weight. If I give myself more calories based on exercise done, then I end up just maintaining. So I stick to calories only.
