So this is my last shot. I've tried it all and got nowhere. I've received my first box of Rybelsus(ozempic in tablet form) I'm gonna give it my best shot and finally shift and keep off 5 stone.

Serial yoyo dieter, have bounced between 11 and 16 stone over the years .... Currently at the latter.

Will update regularly to keep myself accountable and hopefully a few others are in the same boat and want to join...

SW 16st 7lbs

First tab down the hatch. Feel ok just a bit of heartburn so Rennie's at the ready. Here we go!!!

I’ve just finished a month. Lost 0lb….i hope you do better than me. I think the dose wasn’t enough.

Oh nooo that's disappointing for you!!! :(

Isn't the 3mg just to get it into your system? I think you go up to 7mg after the 1st month.

I've been in this situation before with saxenda and mysimba and lost feck all so really hoping this helps.

I think it works the same as the Ozempic injections, in. Which case it builds over time, look up 'half life' which illustrates how it continues to build week on week to reach full efficacy.

I'm on injections, took my 11th on Friday so 10 full weeks of dieting, I've found it really helpful in just reducing the gnawing hunger, I'm not free from hunger but I can better control myself. I have combined it with calorie counting using MyFitnessPal and stick to below 1700 calories a day which is 500 below my maintenance baseline according to a TDEE calculator.

I also make sure I get at least 1ltr water a day on top of my normal coffee/Diet Coke/sugar free squash.

I've lost 21lb in 10 weeks, so a steady 2lb a week.

That's amazing results and sustainable too, which is what I'm after. I can drop weight quickly by cutting out food groups or slashing calories but I can't be at that anymore, it's not healthy and the weight piles back on...and then some!

I'm hoping this drug is enough to help me along the way to making better choices and to stop nibbling on an evening. I worry though, that once I stop taking it, it'll all go to shit again. Hopefully by then I'll have formed some good, lasting habits.

Well done again on your weight loss I bet you feel great!

Same as Snappy. R tablets did nothing for me whereas ozempic jabs made a big difference. Agree it's down to dosage

My 1st order of rybelsus arrives today, i'm hoping they offer me a starting point to my weightloss if nothing else, a friend of mine has lost 4 stone on them and said she would have fallen off the wagon at the start without them. Hoping the side effects are a minimum but we'll soon see, great to have found this thread xx
