Hi, I saw somewhere on mn a thread a while ago and a poster had put on a step by step guide to a satisfying salad - like start with grains, then protein, then veg. There were loads of great suggestions for ingredients but I don't even know if it was on this board! I've tried searching but I can find it. Does anyone else remember? Was it you?? Xx

What grains ? I need to get rid of the rice/pasta from my lunch, but make it satisfying at the same time.

Pretty certain she suggested the ready to eat pouches - lentils, quinoa etc. There was basically a big long list of suggestions that you could mix and match. I thought it was a great idea but now I can't find the post!

Pearl barley works well - you do have to boil it for a while so I do a big batch for the week. I think herbs help a lot to pep it up.

There's been a few salad threads lately.

I have these 2 saved. Not sure if it's the one that you're looking for though.

What do you put in a salad to make it interesting?

Thanks @ClaraThePigeon it might be the photo in the second thread I'm thinking of. I've just found thesaladlab on insta which has some really interesting ideas for anyone else in a salad rut 😁

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to check out The Salad Lab then.
