What healthy, filling snacks do you take to work to help with weight loss? I'm going to do roast chickpeas but struggling for other ideas.

I’m less good on weight loss snacks but I’ve got good at filling low sugar snacks-

Plain Yogurt with granola in

Carrot sticks with hummus

A hard boiled egg

Strips of chicken

1 slice of bread with hummus or avocado spread on it (or a more low fat spread of choice)

Olives

Cheese
Chicken sausages
Boiled eggs
Nuts

When I was on a losing weight drive I would take a large tub of carrot sticks to the office. That was my first morning snack and I had to eat that first. Carrot sticks take a while to eat, and the fibre/bulk is quite good for making you feel satisfied. So it would work well to hold me back from the tastier but more calorific snacks I'd have otherwise inhaled without thinking.

Several pieces of fruit - couple of apples, tub of grapes, maybe some tomatoes or cucumber cut up all also good healthy snacks.

I don’t take any…. Good thing about work is there’s no fridge or cupboard full of chocolate. I do have to avoid choc machine though. Wfh has made weight gain significant.

Fats & proteins

Mini baby bel
Salami slices/pepperami
Full fat yoghurt with added protein powder
Chicken slices/chunks
Boiled eggs
Raw veggies (carrot, broccoli, asparagus)

I found that cutting out snacking helped me lose weight really effectively. If you have well-balanced and protein heavy meals each day (normal portions) you could lose snacking and will probably drop weight.

It depends on your diet, but generally crudités, fruit, cheese, a boiled egg, etc are all fine. What you add for flavour might be where you come unstuck.

This week, I cut up a pineapple and split it into 80g pots for each day. I'd forgotten how much I love a fresh pineapple.

For savoury, I like thinly sliced cucumbers in vinegar or pickled onions. Usually eaten when my co-workers' greasy cafe sandwiches are delivered so they can't say anything about the smell.😂

There are good suggestions here, thank you.

Not snacking is unlikely to be an option, unfortunately. I work in a large team in a hospital. There is temptation around constantly. That will be much easier to resist if I can keep hunger at bay with healthier snacks. Not sure I can bring myself to eat boiled egg on its own though.
