Weight loss plateau

Hi all

I am now 4 months post partum with my second child. Decided around 5 weeks ago I needed to try and lose some weight as after his birth, I was the heaviest I'd ever been at 10 stone 6lbs.

I am now 10 stone exactly so have lost around 6lbs in 5 weeks which I'm pretty happy with.

I now feel like I've hit a bit of a plateau. I would love to lose another 1-2 lbs this week.

Things I do currently:
• intermittent fasting (eating between 12pm - 7pm)
• only drink water throughout the day and one black coffee in the morning
• being active daily whether that's just a walk, a YouTube workout with dumbbells and kettlebells and occasionally running

What can I do this week to help me break the plateau and drop another few lbs?

Thank you in advance!

What kind of things are you eating? Are you breastfeeding? How tall are you? How many calories are you eating?

Thank you for the reply @AutisticLegoLover!

I am not breastfeeding anymore. I am 5ft 6 and not calorie counting either. Life is hectic enough as it is with a toddler and a baby I don't think I could then track every single calorie down to a T! I probably could have a few years back.

Food wise I tend to eat protein overnight oats when I break my fast at 12pm. Usually topped with mixed seeds and a sprinkle of dried cranberries.
Dinner will be chicken/fish/ with veg/occasionally rice or potatoes and usually I cook my dinners in the airfryer. Sometimes I'll have an omelette for dinner if I need to whip something up quickly. I only really have two meals a day at the minute but pretty filling dinners so don't really feel the need to snack.

You aren't overweight and it sounds like you aren't eating very much so weight loss will be slow.

Calories still count when fasting even if you are not actively counting them. By having only two meals a day, you naturally eat less calories, and this what makes people lose weight when fasting.
Your meals sound great. Be mindful of the bite here and there chasing toddler. It adds up very quickly!
