@bigknickersbigknockers Hiya. I lost loads of weight with intermittent fasting. One does need medical supervision depending on how long they fast and if they have underlying health issues and it's best to do your research and start gradually. U can check my 40lbs loss here

Saxenda injections. Been an absolute godsend. I've lost three stone in three months and I've previously tried every diet plan or meal replacement going I think!
Good luck to him

I’m presuming it’s to get his BMI under 32 and body fat of less that 30%…..
id try saxenda as others have mentioned, you can get it from online weight loss clinics rather than through the NHS but it does cost.

if he reduces his calorie intake each day by 500/600 calories, and exercises he will be able to do it

Optifast is a full meal replacement. You have 3 or 4 a day depending on protein requirements plus allowed no starch veggies. My dietitian allowed me three products plus a small serve of protein and egg 100 g uncooked meat a day. If you also look up opticooks website tomorrow (it is having an IT issue today) it has loads of recipes from the allowed veggies which means he can have more of a meal. He will need to exercise to keep his muscle up. It will suck particular day 3 and 4 but it's ok from then.

Hi OP! If he’s looking for a quick fix, from experience Lighter Life could work. Four shakes a day and the weight will drop off. You can order the shakes online and they usually arrive within 48 hours.

Wow, big achievement. Well done to him!
What did he do to lose the weight? What are his secrets!

bigknickersbigknockers · 12/07/2023 07:51

He basically starved himself. He lived on one meal of either fish or chicken and salad for the duration and drank only water. And he did large amounts of exercise using the gym and climbing hills to get a large calorie deficit. Using myfitness pal helped to track everything. He is now eating a more normal low calorie diet and doing a more sustainable amount of exercise.
