Hi guys, ive lost over 40lbs on IF since having baby in Jan, I started at 16h and built my way up. I normally do minimum 20h. I just started my clock for an extended fast. Anyone want to buddy up.
I might get to 5 day's again. This has been my max. I have roughly 20lbs to loose. We can do this. Remember to drink plenty water 💦🙂

Please don't. My DH did this and is now in kidney failure.

IloveGod2 · 22/05/2023 19:25

@BergamotandLime really but did he have the right experience and research. Also did he already have underlying issues. That may have caused it. I just took my kidney test and it's all fine. It's advised to seek advice before taking part in such. He may have had issues prior or it might have not been what caused it as fasting helps medically. Did he for instance take electrolyte

Yes, he researched thoroughly and did it all properly. It probably wasn't the only cause but contributed significantly.

IloveGod2 · 22/05/2023 19:31

Sorry to hear that. Appreciate the feedback x

Interested in this - I’m doing 16/8 and have lost absolutely nothing over the last three months! What are your eating windows usually?

IloveGod2 · 22/05/2023 22:37

@Purplefoalfoot hi so Jason fung and Stephanie gin advise to do over 18h for weight loss and less for maintenance. You also also mix things up so one day 16h and the next 18h and so on

Is this wise if you have recently had a baby op?

IloveGod2 · 22/05/2023 22:41

I'm a bit confused. Do you fast or 20 hours per day or for 5 full days?

IloveGod2 · 22/05/2023 23:31

@BTMadmummy so basically I do a minimum of 20h. ( So may last meal for instance will be at 3/4 and I won't eat again till the following afternoon. Most time will be spent sleeping. I do the extended fast here and there but not often. How that makes sense
