Woohoo - lost another 1 lb again through no effort other than running 3 times a week.

Thank you Furball for getting us started, I'm sorry to be so slow! That's really well done with the running - especially in this cold weather, I'm so impressed. I haven't gained or lost this week but as I had a hot cross bun fest on Sunday (also saffron buns and chocolate brioche) this is perhaps more of an achievement than it looks....

Good luck everybody and think thin, we've got clothes to get into for the summer and we might have an early heatwave like we did in April last year.

HeavyBee · 20/02/2008 14:42

OK then my ducks, Furball and I are here, where are you all? Even if you don't feel like confessing, get it over with and get on with losing again this week, that's what I'm doing. Of course I can this week, dds are at my mum and dad's and I'm not buying any more treats.... Anyway I really hope everyone's feeling motivated and that there's a bit less of us collectively by next week.

Smalline · 21/02/2008 09:02

half a lb off this week, 6 in total now, must say that I am very pleased with myself. Have a good week everyone.

ROSEgarden · 21/02/2008 09:06

hi girls, i kind of flit in and out of these slimming threads sadly due to my own lack of commitment to the cause...i DO most definatly need to lose weight about 4-5 stone to be precise so its no laughing matter for me ay more..last week i lost 4-5lb just by not eating when finished work and dd gone to bed..so i know my probs are snacking on rubbish through day and evening munching are my probs (i had a sandwhich at 10.30 last night??!!Why???)

so cant promise ill stick here forever, but will try and would love to join you to offer and hopefully recieve encouragment to climb this flaming great mountain!

im off to make my self freid egg(friend in fry light) on toast, that always seems 'fattening' and 'naughty' to me but is fine..i think????

welcome Rosegarden - we would love to have you on our 'lardy' threads. each week we post on the latest one what we've done that week, hopefully losses!

Hello Rosegarden, welcome to the lardy ladies' thread. Sounds like you need to do what I have to do, which is stay out of the kitchen. If I sit in the kitchen in the evening I nibble all the time. If I am not in the kitchen I can mostly manage not to snack. Does that work for you?

HeavyBee · 26/02/2008 11:48

OK my little cherubs, here we go this week, good luck and stay out of the kitchen.
