Oh FGS! How on earth can I lose weight with a broken arm?!

I have a big party mid July and was slowly trying to lose some weight (need to lose a stone). I've managed to break a bone in my arm so I'm now more or less housebound as I live rurally and can't drive. I'm able to walk outside and am trying to walk a bit evrry day. I'm BORED and limited on what I can cook, so I'm basically eating loads of toast. I've put on 2lb in a week.

Any tips or experience welcome 🙏

Or just rest, you will be better before you know it and can continue then.

Yeah. If the broken part moves apparently I'll need an operation, so I think I just need to calm down for a few weeks.

You can't outrun your diet, a wise woman once said, which is good news for you right now, hope it gets better soon

You can, though, when I'm running every other day I eat what I like.

You need to eat less and do more. Its that simple.

Theres nothing stopping you walking with a broken arm, dont limit yourself - Youve got to WANT to loose weight not just be aware you need to.

Yes, of course it makes a difference. Calories in calories out innit. I think the issue is when people go for a 2k jog then eat a tub of ice cream.
