I feel like this is so vain but I’ve tried really hard to be body positive etc etc about my body after 3 kids and I know it takes time to lose all the weight having done this twice before, but my god this time it’s just so hard. I’m 5ft 1, usually around 50kg at my “healthy weight”. I gained between 15-20kg during each pregnancy which was insane on my small build body. Anyway, I’m now back down to 53/54kg 18 months since having my 3rd but losing those extra kilos is impossible. I don’t really care about the numbers per se but it’s how I feel and look in and out of clothes that bother me. My belly could easily look 5/6 months pregnant even though I’ve slimmed everywhere else.

i honestly don’t eat unhealthy or too much, I have quite a small appetite and have healthy meals. I walk, I’ve done extreme diets, I’ve done healthy exercise plans etc etc etc but NOTHING is working.

is there anything else I can do? could it be hormonal? If so what do I do?

The last bit of weight can be the hardest to lose, I think.

The Lose it may 2023 thread is very welcoming and I find it helpful, you could join us there for some moral support if you fancy.

I think the main thing is consistency, which ever weight loss rules you're following, you just have to keep at it.

I keep to a low carb diet. I find eating carbs makes me hungry again too quickly, and then it's hard getting through the day. Plenty of protein keeps me fuller for longer.
