Not sure what to do about Ozympic shortages

I've been on this for 7 weeks now and it's been a miracle for me as I have found it impossible to lose my menopause weight over the last 7 years. I was 13 and a half stone when I started so lots to lose.

I have a 0.25 pen currently as it was all I could get but have actually been taking a 0.5 dose for 3 weeks.

Should I go back to taking the .25 dose to eek it out and hope more stock will arrive? Or will that be pointless as I have already been on .5?

I was also thinking of swapping to the pills, but would I have to start at the lowest dose again?

I can't bear having to stop taking it as I felt so unhealthy and unhappy before.

Thanks.

I'm in the same boat, I've been on my first jab and need to order another. If that's not possible I'll eek out my current one for a couple more weeks at 0.25 then will run out 😕

I’m in the same boat too! I’m 10 weeks in & on the 1mg dose. Pretty happy with my loss so far. Health Express have offered several alternatives but I’m not at all sure what to do for the best & their helpline were rather unhelpful. I’ve been offered Saxenda, Mysimba tablets & also Rybelsus (Semaglutide/Ozempic) in tablet form - but this is 3mg which is the lowest dose and from what I’ve read, isn’t anywhere near as effective as the injections. No info on how long it takes before the dose can be increased. I’m very reluctant at the thought of having to start again, or at the additional cost of having to do so.

Health Express have confirmed that if switch to the tablet form, Rybelsus, then I will have to start of the lowest dose of 3mg. They also said that if I were to switch back to Ozempic in the future, then I’d have to start again with the 0.25mg dose. It’s all rather frustrating 😬
