Anyone want to join me on the Cambridge 1:1 diet?

Hi

Wondered if anyone else is doing the Cambridge Diet currently? I started two weeks ago on 1a plus a pack of pop Squares a day and have lost just under 12lb.

Want to lose at least 2st 10pb before holiday early August and then take it from there when I get back.

I really need to go up the steps properly (or transition to something more manageable carb wise given I'm veggie) and not just come off it and pile it all on.

Need to sort out my eating once and for all - have a therapist now - but in the meantime just want to get a chunk of weight off to start to feel healthier, want/be able to exercise.

Anyone else out there doing it currently?

@keeponkeepoff - hello! How long have you been doing it for and how much would you like to lose?

Hi, can I join you?

I haven’t joined the Cambridge 1:1 diet as it was way too expensive with a diet coming up.. but given it was just a meal replacement shake.. a fried pasta sachet, a cup of soup and a sack bar.. I ordered everything I need from Tesco as an alternative and am just sticking to a very low calorie diet.

I started on Sunday and so far I’ve gone down by 4lbs, I think it’s likely water weight to begin with although I’ve been drinking 3l of water a day.

I feel better already, more motivational, more energetic.

I have 8 week before my wedding dress alternations so I’m trying to lose weight fast!

@twiggy100 Well done - that's great!

@Wedthebed - just make sure you're getting all your minerals and vitamins - all the products are enriched and balanced. There are online versions (New You, Exante, etc...) that do the same for cheaper but I need the accountability of weighing in sadly. Sorry if you're an old hand and know all this already!
