I have started slimfast today. The NHS BMI calculator says that to get to a healthy weight I need to lose at least 6 stone… I can’t eat super low calorie as I am still breastfeeding a toddler and I don’t want to stop before he wants to.

I have bought enough of the shake powder to last 16 days of 2 shakes a day. The plan is to have one for breakfast and lunch and have a yogurt or a banana if I get hungry in between. I’m not going to calorie count for tea as I find it really difficult and I know that I can’t restrict calories too much whilst continuing to breastfeed.

So far I’ve had a breakfast shake, a banana and a lunch shake. I’m making spaghetti carbonara for tea. I don’t feel hungry 🤷‍♀️

dont diet whilst breast feeding not good for you or baby, eat normally, but if anything restrict sugar,
also try eating less carbs, and eat them last off your plate, the body deals with carbs better that way.
look up Glucose Revolution a book by Jesse Inchscape, easy to do ive kept off over a stonne now for more than a year
good luck, it's a marathon not a sprint. and BMI calculations from the 50's are not realistic
