Slimming World - anyone else find that green days dont' work for them ?

I've never done a red day! I lost nearly 4 stone before I got pregnant doing all green days.

I do mainly green days and have lost 13lb so far.
Are you sure you are only having the free food as unlimited amount?
You must try to have all the HE As & Bs.
Stick with it, maybe try and have a couple of red days a week to see if that helps.

What did you have for your B choices then?
If you are finding it hard to eat the B choice, it might be a good idea to have some breakfast bars. I like the ryvita ones as you can have 2 of those as 1 HEb.

You are not over eating, just not eating enough. Not sure how it works, but do know you have to eat the Heathy As and Bs. When I did it years ago, you were only allowed 1 HEa, you can have 2 now though.

When I am having green days, I have 2 weetabix (HEb and HEa milk)
For lunch I have savoury rice.
For dinner I might have pasta or quorn sausages, mash, egg, baked beans.

For red days, I tend to stick to tuna or chicken salad. I prefer green days.

i prefer green days, but am a biiiig carb addict. i have made some changes this week, cutting out some of the mullerlight yoghurts and bread. i have 2 hifi bars a day as my b choices.

i am on red for the rest of this week as have run out of quorn. and figur ei should use up some of the meat in the freezer. and its star week and red suits better during star week for me.

my friend lost loads just doing green days (she is veggie).

are you sure you arent putting yourself in ketosis on red? are you getting your heB?

my consultant says you have to have the two b options. maybe you are filling up on carbs so dont feel hungry but then not getting the fibre that the b choices give you as you are only having one.
i lost weight on both red and green, with more loss on red but i prefer green

No idea, but its a good coincidence!

I have got some of those Alpen light bars, chocolate and something they are. I was eating one tonight and checked SW website to make sure they are ok. I found out I could have 2 as 1 HEb. I didn't mind having to eat an extra one!

I wasn't go to weigh myself today as I pigged out over the weekend. I did though and have maintained this week. Was surprised after the amount I ate!

HE B's are all high fibre foods which help fill you up and will help with your weight loss.

on red days you need the HeB for fibre and HeA for calcium. our sw leader makes a point that for ladies the HeA is very important. on green days, again its fibre and protein for heb. (i think)

ketosis can also happen if on an atkins diet or your avoid carbs completely. LL puts you in ketosis to burn fat as well as being a VLCD. which is why people lose a lot very quickly on VLCD.

I have done LL and CD and hated ketosis as felt really unwell on it. I also went into ketosis when pregnent due to hyperemis gravidium and wound up on a drip and again not very well.
