What can they tell you? Your fat / muscle ratio? Anything about your bones? Do you have to get a bone scan to know if your bones are in good nic?. Could your bones be dense enough /porous enough to affect your weight.
My friend and I are the same age roughly, height, both on hrt, neither of us is ''big boned'' by any description. I view myself as being the same size roughly, but I'm a whole stone heavier. It it were 7lbs heavier I'd think ok, I guess my shoulders are a little wider, but a whole stone!? Either I have heavy bones :-p , that ol' chestnut, or I'm in denial.
Being polite (?) my lovely friend expressed surprise that I was a stone heavier.
So, to pierce my denial, should I get a bioimpedence scales? I would like to know if my body composition is ok. I walk a lot. I'm not a vegetarian. Low carb, not keto, I do eat enough protein (I make sure I do because it manages hunger). Avoid sugar, flour, cake, chips, pizza all the bad stuff. Not completely obsessed though, I occasionally have about 20 grams of green and blacks 85%
