Less carbs, more veg, more exercise and maybe try some form of intermittent fasting.

DrMarciaFieldstone · 01/05/2023 12:17

Yes, intermittent fasting for sure. It resets your appetite,
IMO.

I highly suggest getting this moved to a different section - this is for Eating Disorders and your thread might be difficult to read for many people in this section.

Yes, it should probably be in Weight Loss Chat.
There are also specific boards for intermittent fasting and low carbing which it might be worth taking a look at.

I’m 5ft and I can tell you it’s hard. Start with logging what you’re eating and comparing it to how many calories you should be eating. I wish I could do intermittent fasting I’m just too damn greedy.

I'm 5ft 1, massively fat. I started a diet 3 weeks ago, have lost 16lbs.

1st week - 9lbs
2nd week - 2lbs
3rd week - 5lbs.

I've been cutting out all carbs - breakfast cereals, bread, pasta, rice, potatoes. Also, all sweet stuff, and butter/fatty stuff.

Breakfast - grilled bacon, poached egg, tomatoes
Lunch - salad with tinned tuna or salmon, or some cooked chicken
Dinner - lots of vegetables with steamed fish, or braised beef
Snacks - diet yogurts, fruit (fresh or frozen), diet lemonade, fruit tea.

I'm an inch taller and weight 8st 10lb Porridge with semi skimmed milk, chia seeds and golden syrup for breakfast
Greek yogurt and cherry, raspberry and strawberry compote with honey and chia seeds for lunch.
Pasta, fajitas, soup, burgers and wedges/homemade chips, or whatever I fancy.
I eat snacks daily. I like snacks!
I walk around 10 miles a day
Calories are on average 1500 a day
No eating after 6pm at the latest unless it's a day off for some reason like a birthday or we are away from home.
As much water as I remember and have time to drink which is about 1-1.5 litres a day.
No food is banned.
I've lost 2 stone since September but most of it since January.

You can do it!
