I measured my waist, hips, belly circumference and thickest part of my thighs last week and then drastically reduced my carb intake at breakfast and lunch (upped my veg, protein and fat intake).

Just measured again and I'm surprised to see the results, can it be right? Or maybe I've measured incorrectly?

I didn't weigh myself that day so I can't triangulate with weight.

Is this possible?

I'm no expert but I know when I first went low carb and 16:8 there was a big change very quickly in the initial couple of weeks. I didn't do measurements but I reckon I probably did lose several cm in the first 2 or 3 weeks. Can't comment on your individual ability to work a tape measure though😊

That's way too much loss for a week 😆 sorry. I think you have measured differently.

Thanks @Weatherwax13 it just seemed too good to be true i guess! Hopefully I've done it correctly. I might use this thread to update each week just to see.

Yeah @WilkinsonM that's what I thought!! Must have done it wrong to start with as I've double checked it today and that's correct. Ahhhh well lol

Carbs hold onto water. It won’t be all fat loss.
