Need to lose 4 - 5 stone l but I have s very active holiday and feel that my weight will hamper my energy levels and flexibility. Aching joints.

How much can I lose in 3 months and any tips?

For I for reference I'm 43 and weigh 15st Blush

What is classed as mild exercise?
Have you worked out your tdee?
People say exercise doesn't make much difference but it does for me.

Slow plod Swimming 500m a 3x a week and some mild stretching/ yoga. I'm not doing it for weight loss though but for my aching body weak

I'd rather not include exercise just use it a - bonus if that makes sense

Well if you loose 2lb a week then you can probably loose 2stone. Just make sure you record everything you eat, and make sure it’s accurate - don’t guess the weight, actually weigh it. Exercise on its own won’t make you loose weight but it will improve your overall health and put you in the right frame of mind to stick to eating healthily.

1lb a week is a realistic target. You'll have weeks you lose more, weeks you lose none and weeks you gain.

OP I hate exercise but when I'm home alone I put music on and dance. No one is about to see me but I dance for 20 mins at a time and 4 times a week. It lifts my mood too. Sometimes I pick up my cat and dance around with him. Eat high protein and low carbs and lowish fat. You can lose 1 1/2 kg a week safely.
