Lightest I've been in 20 years

As the title says I'm about to be the lightest I've been in 20 years and it's a very weird feeling especially as I've got another 5 stone to go but just wanted to share it with people that understand. Not done in a very conventional way basically I had a MH crisis quite a severe one and for the first time got properly treated. My weight has been down to MH and anxiety and filling a hole. I never thought this kind of weight loss and control over my food would come in this way.

Congratulations that's great.

Blimey- well done @fluffy2buffy

I understand totally. I'm in pretty much the same position, another 5 stone to lose but I've lost 10. It's an amazing feeling isn't it?

Well done! I'm sorry it took a crisis, hope you're feeling better 💐

That's brilliant op! Imo there are 2 basic types - people who comfort eat when stressed and people who don't eat when stressed - and the two types will never truly understand the other.

Well done! You've done so well

Jellytotsburnmytongue · 19/04/2023 21:21

Congratulations on the weight loss. It's good to hear you got the treatment you needed, I hope that the future is really positive for you from now.

SaveMeFromForearms · 19/04/2023 21:24

That's bloody brilliant!

I've lost just over 4 stone and will probably try to lose one more. I can't tell you how much better I feel about myself. Wish I'd made the effort 20 years ago but too late now...

fluffy2buffy · 20/04/2023 08:32

Such lovely comments thank you! A life spent dieting I wonder how many times I've lost the same 3 stone.

Well done, that's fabulous news!

I've lost the same weight over and over again for years and always end up a bit bigger each time. I've now completely changed how I eat and am slowly losing weight but I'm worried any change in my life my tip me back into bad eating habits as I definitely over eat when I'm stressed.
