I know, I know. It's a fad. It's not sustainable. Etc etc. But I am at the top end of healthy BMI, about 1-1-.5 stone more than I'd like to be (and have been). I have a very big holiday in 4 weeks we've been planning for 4 years and I just could not get back into MFP as I have done previously to shift those extra unwanted lbs. I just really don't want to look back at photos and see a body I don't recognise Sad

So have for the first time in my life opted for one of these juicing things, just to see if I can shift a chunk of weight up front, and will swap to 5:2 for the remaining 2 weeks.

Defence over, anyone done this? I have a quiet 2 weeks, just one day in the office so thought it would be a good time to try. Done my first day today, bit of a headache and thinking of food nonstop Sad

It worked wonders for me! Lost 18 lbs in 2 weeks last summer with it and kept it off since. It really helped me transition from unhealthy eating into a healthy lifestyle. Yeah it’s really tough and boring at times 😂 but it definitely reprograms your mind and tastebuds to appreciate healthy foods! It was amazing how much more I could taste the flavours in healthy foods after the detoxing period.

Stick with it! My sister and BIL also followed it after seeing my results and they lost loads too!

Thanks for replying. It's not helping that I don't like the smoothies, so I'm not able to finish them which is making me more hungry!
