I cannot get a grip on my diet and swiftly moving through the BMI chart in the wrong direction!
I am hungry all the time. Literally the minute I get up to the minute I go to bed. All day long I think of food. It disgusts me tbh. My belly is so fat it's making me uncomfortable now.

Up your protein.

I've just gone carnivore and am not hungry AT ALL. I don't even constantly think about food. I found myself wondering the other day what I'm going to occupy myself with now as I'm not constantly thinking about it and planning what I'm going to eat😂

Thanks! Yes I have to say I wonder what I'd do with all that time if I wasn't busy thinking about food!

Ozempic/Wegovy will change your life. As far as I know it's only available on prescription on the upper levels of the Weight Management Programme via the NHS but it's about £150 a month on private prescription if that's something available to you.

@slowsundays I really want to try this. My dh keeps telling me to stop looking to drugs and do it naturally but I really am at the point where I feel like I'm killing myself slowly with food. I've put on 4 stone in the last couple of years without really noticing. I have tried to diet and been very unsuccessful.
I would probably save £150 pm if I stopped snacking 😂

I've got really severe pcos and find I eat carbohydrates then I'm hungry constantly.
So just meat fruit and veggies for me and the weight falls off.I drink green tea too to fill me up in between meals

You could try inositol. It really reduced cravings for me. Lots of very positive accounts on Reddit of inositol helping with lots of PCOS symptoms.

I have pcos too the way I've managed my hunger is to have water or a hot drink before I go to bed.
My daily food intake as follows:

Breakfast - hot drink maybe with a yogurt or slice of toast
Lunch - protein shake or crackers and cheese
Dinner - what everyone else eats
Snacks - any of these: banana, apple, bit of chocolate, rich tea biscuits

I really find my protein shakes and protein yogurts hold my hunger. I drink a lot of water between meals too

@DreamingOfRest will no flush niacin help? I found some in Holland and b earlier and it also had inositol on the bottle so I got it. Was in a rush and really want to sort my weight asap as starting to feel very uncomfortable with how heavy I am now. Thanks

No idea about the niacin, but the recommended dosage of inositol for PCOS is 4,000mg a day. I take a brand called Inofolic Alpha, it's expensive by comparison to buying bulk inositol, but it seems to be a good formulation. I hope you find something that works for you, PCOS is such a curse!
