Semaglutide and periods!

I know we have different sorts, I'm taking Rybelsus tablets, starting dose. Am switching to Ozempic next week (again, starting dose for a month) because I don't like taking the tablets tbh.

Side effects was a little nausea at the beginning, nothing too bad. But....where the heck is my period?! Looked at a reddit thread and apparently it can be disruptive but NO WHERE does it say that officially. I'm 14 days late (not pg). My cycle has been 24-25 days consistently for the last ten years.

Anyone else? It's almost like disruption to our cycles isn't important enough to flag up. Like it's not relevant to our lives or something. I pretty much will plan holidays around it (not on any contra so can't go through packs) and look ahead at the calendar so I can plan accordingly if I'm on.

Part of me thinks this disruption is enough to stop taking any of it and go back to CICO only.

It's a new drug under strict watch so report it under the yellow card system. It might be unconnected though. My periods changed when I got to 40 due to hormonal changes.

I'll do that, thanks. I'm 44 this year, it would be a mad coincidence if this was purely hormonal or peri. I think anecdotal reports are that this affects cycles (from my limited googling anyway!)
