Weight to lose

Hi all,

I am looking for some help. I started the depo provera injection in 2017, i have since gained 5 stone.

My injection ends on the 19th April and i am not taking it again as me and my partner would like to have a baby soon. I have done a lot of research and it says it can take up to 18 months after the injection to become pregnant and weight is a big factor on how long it takes to get pregnant after the injection also.

i have been dieting since january, by march 13th i lost 1 stone, which is great, but i have not lost any weight since then. i am doing the same as i always was, i exercise 4 or 5 days a week, my calorie deficit is correct so i should be losing - i track all my calories and i am always within.

im not sure what to do now, i’m so disheartened right now but i really just want to drop a few stone and be healthy so that i can have a baby of my own.

Is there any chance your hormones are starting to change as the injection is running out?
