At the risk of sounding like a total freak, I love it and I've been going for 15 years! It's so good for getting fit and more toned and it's impossible to take yourself too seriously... brilliant in pregnancy too. I hope you keep going - it is fun and it can really make a difference.

when i first had DS i did aqua aerobics, helped with getting fit after emergency CS... i did however after about a month find that it wasnt energetic enough and i then went to body pump etc. But i loved it too, i just didnt have enough time for 2 classes

It's fab exercise,it's easy on your joints, the water means your body is working harder than it would on land and the sweat doesn't show plus it's funny as hell! Stick with it.

I did it at uni and the instructor was heavily pregnant and doing the moves on the side of the pool we used to watch her with baited breath hoping she didn't slip!

wait until you get the floating dumbells. oh thats funny. and hard work.

i find it really good workout, especially if you are/were an exercise advoider like myself. i started aquaaerobics back in oct, stop[ed in dec/jan as fell ill and felt too unwell ,then restarted three weeks ago.

i don't think iwas the only one who didn't understand everything i might try and go again but it is a bit late for me but then if i go at the lunchtime it is more hassle as my ma has to llok after lil man so i have to walk there where as tonight me dad looked after him cos he was already in his cot asleep so it is easier i spose but a bit late
