Ozempic from GP?

I suspect the answer is probably no, but I figure no harm in asking.
Has anyone been prescribed Ozempic from their GP, who is overweight but does not have diabetes?
I mean from GP direct rather than referral to tier 3/4 weight management teams.

Also, if you have been referred to tir 3/4 weight management team, have they prescribed Ozempic and how long did that take from GP referral?

I expect I'm going to need to go private but just looking into all possibilities.
Weight wise I am morbidly obese, if that information is relevant. I am dieting (again) but it's just not really shifting.

Ozempic cannot be prescribed by the NHS GP without a diabetes diagnosis yet. When Wegovy launches (same thing, different use) then it will still only be prescribed by weight management- although I think this may change in time.
