What can I do in a month?

So I am about 1 stone heavier than I'd like to be (nearing the top end of healthy) going on holiday in 5 weeks. Not expecting to lose the full stone, but would love to lose half a stone to feel a bit more comfortable. In the past calorie counting and walking has been enough for me to shift a stone over 3 months, but I've really struggled to get myself into gear this year. Happy to attempt something a little faddy knowing it may not stick but if it gets me on the plane a bit lighter!

Quite a sedentary lifestyle (mostly WFH) struggle to enjoy any exercise except walking, house full of boys which means cooking large carby meals! DH has agreed to go T total for the month with me which will help!

Any times for something that could work would be much appreciated?

You'd be surprised at how much you can change your body in a month.

I recommend doing some HIIT workouts on Youtube and just eating healthier. Growingananas is a good one on Youtube. Don't focus on the number on the scales, but you'll definitely notice your body feeling tighter and more toned.

Every so often, I'll go into a binge phase and pile on a few pounds. But then I kick my butt into gear and I'm usually a lot more toned again after a week or two of getting back into routine.

Ultimately, this all requires a bit of discipline. I wouldn't recommend anything faddy as you're just going to be miserable and be stuck in this cycle all over again.

Fast 800 is your friend.

Honestly, I'm 58 and struggle to get 6000 steps in a day, no other exercise...it drops off you.
I'm the same, a week in to 5 weeks before holiday. Have 1 stone to lose. Lost half a stone in a week, OK, lots is initial water loss but I've done it before and it works for a quick fix. Maintenence programme thereafter.
Good luck

I recommend Intermittent Fasting, currently been doing One Meal a Day 5 days a week, two meals a day the other 2 days, have been doing that since 13th of March and have lost 5lbs, I haven't cut out alcohol either, which I really need to. I still need to lose another 1st7lb at least. Have a wedding coming up mid-June which has kicked me up the butt!

Cilla’s amazing smoothie detox worked wonders for me! Lost a stone in 2 weeks and kept it off for over a year now 🤗
