How can I lose 1lb a week?

Anyone know how I can lose 1lb a week. I would be happy with this.

Would like to lose about 6 - 7 lbs in all.

Sounds easy enough but it's not working.

How many steps/calories does it entail?

Many thanks.

I’m losing 2lb a week at the moment by eating 1,200 calories a day, doing a minimum of 10,000 steps and day and going to the gym three times a week to do cardio and resistance training.

It sounds a lot but I’m really enjoying it!

You need a calorie deficit of 3500 to lose 1lb.

Following! I lost half a stone and I need to lose 7lb more. But I'm stuck!!

I did stop running due to my running leggings being so tight it caused tummy trouble. So I need to wait until pay day to afford the next size up. So I can run and become the size I originally was 😂 absolutely bloody ridiculous!!

Weight loss is 80% what you eat. Exercise won't make you lose weight but it can tone you up. Even my personal trainer admits it's true.

I've changed my lattes for black or Americano, except on Sundays. I don't drink much. I try to pile half of my plate with non starchy veg and I drink lots of water. I resist the cakes at work now. Protein for breakfast fills me up. Every little helps.

I did 1lb a week by:
Stopping snacking
Cutting down portion size of carbs
Cutting alcohol
Upping exercise. Brisk walking.

I've recently switched my diet to low carb/high fat/high protein.

(20% carbs, 50% fat, 30% protein)

I eat 1800 - 2300 calories a day depending on the level of exercise I'm doing.

I probably average around 90-120 minutes per day give or take (mix or swimming, cycling and weights in the gym).

In the last 2 weeks I've lost almost 5lbs.
