I want to go on it but my BMI is not high enough so I will pay privately. What's my best option?

Will you be suitable for it if your BMI is not high enough ?
You will still need to have a private consultation, provide your BMI and medical details

I was rejected for Ozempic as my BMI was slightly below the minimal recommended

I think one Big Mac and I'd have been there

😩🤭

You can sign up at boots for notifications as to when its available. I don't know their guidelines for prescribing but if it's anything like ozempic you will need a BMI of 30 or 27 with other factors that put you at risk of developing weight related problems.

What about a private prescriber?

What about a private prescriber?

Anecdotal evidence from others suggests people are "massaging"their weight to be accepted even with a private prescriber it needs to be above 30 BMI.

What is your BMI? If you are close I would make sure it's 30...if its 28 or under, its probably not for you.
