How much money would you pay to be slim?

What would you pay to be your perfect weight?

Not ‘pay for a chef’ or personal trainer. But how much would you pay to magically, overnight be slim?

I'd pay thousands if it was guaranteed to stay off!!

NCTDN · 28/02/2023 21:27

I'm amazed no one else has responded!

Dacadactyl · 28/02/2023 21:34

I am slim already but I'd pay 10k to have the definition I want in my arms and legs, without having to go to the gym and cut out the food I would have to, to get it.

Any more than that and it'd just be easier to modify my diet slightly and go to the gym.

namechangeforthisbleep · 28/02/2023 21:38

5k if I could do in instalments haha

Plenanna · 28/02/2023 21:42

I would give up my house to have a nice body. I’d happily pay a couple of hundred grand and live in a rented flat if I could be thin without loose skin or stretch marks.

BorgQueen · 28/02/2023 21:43

Not bothered about being ‘slim’ but I would pay thousands to get rid of a horrible wobbly double chin and pouchy lower stomach covered in stretch marks, losing 3 stone (from 15) hasn’t made a blind bit of difference.

Particularprick · 28/02/2023 21:45

I paid ten grand.

I paid ten grand.

Didn't happen overnight. A year. But yes I'd have paid it for overnight obviously.

Changemaname1 · 28/02/2023 21:48

Nothing to be slim because that’s achievable for me personally but if I had it I’d pay whatever to have the muscle definition I desire rather than work out everyday

Happysalley · 28/02/2023 21:50

Just to look good? Nothing. For a healthy body I'd give every penny I've ever earned.

FinallyHere · 28/02/2023 21:52

Im doing alright. I'd give a very great deal indeed to had DH's leg and hence limited mobility fixed.

Ayeitsme · 28/02/2023 21:52

If I'm honest, it really fucking annoys me that it's the one bloody thing I can't throw money at.

I know people can pay for gastric surgery, liposuction etc but I'm not in that 'ball park' if you see what I mean. I'm 'just' a bit chubby, a bit peri, a bit of a thumb head!

Particularprick · 28/02/2023 21:45

I paid ten grand.

What for?

FunnysInLaJardin · 28/02/2023 21:57

Once when I was about 28 and a size 12/14 I said I'd rather be slim than a solicitor as the latter seemed so much easier to achieve!

I am now 52, a size 16/18 and a solicitor, so I was right!

I would re-mortgage for sure. I’d pay huge amounts.

To be a size 10-12 immediately with no loose skin and maintaining my current good health and guaranteed to maintain that? I'd happily commit £20k - if i could have a repayment plan!

I should add ive been overweight or obese since i was about 3yrs old, have no concept of life not being self-conscious about my body and therefore place possibly too much value on the potential to look amzing!

Dashel · 01/03/2023 09:18

For slim, toned and slightly muscular bodies I would happily fork out £10k each for DH but we are making slow but consistent progress on our own.

but to get rid of all the aches and pains, grey hairs and bad eyesight for us both It would be considerably more and more still If the magic wand could stick a health guarantee on the body till 90.

I think it is possible to use money to help your body to various degrees, buying good food, vitamins, gym membership or equipment or things like physio, private doctors, getting help giving up smoking etc but I know that wasn’t what you asked.
