Good evening!
Due to an injury and medication I have been very inactive in the last 6 months and eaten more sugar than I would have ever thought possible. Real addiction in full force. now is the time to do something about this and to lose weight - I desperately crave sugar, feel hangry etc daily. Doctor advised trying to reduce the medication I am on and lose weight- have been researching about the sugar addiction and how best to tackle this and have decided to try the human being diet. Have you heard of this before? Any positive stories/ reviews? Basically in first 2 days you only eat veg, then for 2 weeks veg and oil allowed then protein veg and fruit for next stage. Seems drastic but idea is to tackle the insulin resistance / sugar addiction.
iv read the book and starting on Monday once I’ve done by veg shop tomorrow and made some soup, anyone care to follow along and give it a go?
maybe bonkers but I am tempted not to weigh myself before beginning, I really really dread to know how much weight I have put on and feel I could be so aghast that’d I feel it’s not achievable to lose enough so what’s the point etc?! Or maybe I should weigh myself to be horrified and that’ll be the motivation I need to keep going. Saturday night pondering over here while I finish reading the HBD book.
