About to start Slimming World - can I have some positivity please

As the title says really! Before I had babies I managed to lose 2 stone and keep it off for a few years, until I got pregnant. Babies are now preschoolers and I've piled the weight back on, and feeling very down about it. Last year I tried the same method I used before and lost barely anything, which has really knocked my motivation and confidence. I am now fatter than ever! I'm just not feeling very optimistic about Slimming World, or maybe daunted is a better word. Does anyone have any success stories to help me keep my chin up please?

Just to add - the method I used before was the NHS 12 week healthy eating plan. I've never really done a "diet" or anything similar.

I do! I’m seven months in and almost 4st down. I have another 1.5 to go and really believe I can get there now. I have never lost anything like this much before.

It’s also something which I could see me keeping up long term. I don’t see it as a diet tbh, it’s a lifestyle change.

Oh that's amazing! Well done. You must feel fantastic. Good to hear that you feel it's not too hard to stick to as well. Thank you!

I do feel so good now. Comfortable in my own body, for perhaps the first time in my adult life tbh. It’s working for me because I never have to be hungry. I’m just making better food choices. I would also recommend doing the Body Magic too, as I am sure that has massively helped me with my losses.

Best of luck with it and feel free to PM me if you need any support :)
