What are the nicest non milk based weight loss powder/shakes?

Dp has well over 20kg to lose so wants to kickstart the week by doing weight loss shakes and then moving into smaller meals. His biggest problem is what he eats and he knows this. He's much more likely to follow something that's formulaic than just trying to cook lower calorie meals.

For it to work for him, we are going to do it together (and then I can always eat more at lunch when we aren't together). I have some weight to lose but I cannot tolerate milk as I am intolerant and after a few milkshakes, it always makes me want to hurl!

I quite like banana flavour or coffee flavour. We have one packet of a trial vegan Very Berry mix (which looks horrific!) but would be interested to hear if others have tried vegan milkshakes and how it's worked out. I'm not vegan btw but just cow's milk intolerant.

Have you looked at Huel? It’s plant based with no milk

I like protein works vegan meal replacement and protein powder.

I did try Huel when it was first released many many years ago and it tasted vile but maybe it has changed since then?
