I am nearly 51 and my metabolism is shot to pieces. I don't have much to lose: about half a stone. But it is proving almost impossible. Anyone want to join me?
My diet is pretty good: vegetarian, lots of lentils ( as per name) , zero alcohol, zero processed foods, very little sugar. Weakness is definitely carbs in the form of rice, noodles or bread which I try to restrict to once a day. Diabetes runs in the family so I want to get my BMI below 23. ( currently 24.6).
The only exercise I enjoy and can sustain is walking which I do a lot of, but I am trying to lift weights in 2023.
