I used to run ultramarathons, I ate healthily and had tons of energy. Now I’m overweight, can’t run for more than a minute and I’m too big to even contemplate running again properly until I’ve lost at least a stone as I just end up injured. I eat junk all day long. I’m so tired, I’m always ill my back hurts all the time. I’m 37 and I feel like I’m 87.
I’m desperate to be the person I once was but I just can’t find the motivation to sort my diet out, I used to love eating healthily but now I can’t even be bothered to make a sandwich for my lunch so I just eat chocolate and crisps to keep me going until dinner time.
So I’m posting here because tomorrow I’m going to start eating properly again, as the first step towards regaining the old me. I probably won’t weigh myself as it doesn’t seem to help my motivation. I’m aiming to get back into a size 10 and get some energy back. I will post my what I eat here every day to keep me accountable. I’m not going to calorie count at this stage but will do 16:8 fasting and aim to eat mainly unprocessed food, more fruit and veg and limited alcohol.

lunch :6 mini donuts + mocha
dinner: fish finger sandwich
