Hi all
I am 35 years old, 165cm and weight 100kgs after my son.
I am really confused how much i need to eat to start loosing some weight.
Do i use my TDEE or BMR?

Would also love to know what people eat when they lose weight (some nice low calorie but filling meal ideas/snack). I am vegetarian due to my religion but do eat egg.

From a vegetarian view point I eat these meals which I think are relatively healthy. You could adjust portions or use items such as cauliflower rice etc

Bean chilli
Lentil dhal
Chickpea curry
Paneer and pea curry
Cashew and broccoli stirfry. use more veg than noodles
Miso soup with tofu, edamame, sweetcorn, seaweed, spring onion
Homemade soups with pumpkin seeds on top
Pasta sauce with silken tofu blended in. Serve with half spaghetti and half courgettie
Blackbean and mushroom wrap
Lemon quinoa, garlic spinach and a protein

Soy eggs for snacks

Have you tried My Fitness Pal? Put your metrics in there and it should give you a target calorie intake.
