I'm 34, weight has slowly crept up over the last 2 years.

I want to lose 10lb, not interested in weight watchers etc. and happy for slow progress e.g. a couple of lb a month. As long as it's going down.

Happy to watch carb intake / fast.

I'm 5ft and want to go from 120lb to 110lb.

How should I tackle this?

Cold water swimming / dipping!

I swear it’s been a bit of a miracle worker for me, not changed anything else and the pounds do seem to drop off!

Interesting. Can you do it in the shower / bath. Or does it need to be outdoors?

I do intermittent fasting and plan on starting it again tomorrow. I stop eating at 8pm until 12pm the next day. Obviously don't go crazy in between, try and be healthy and I lost 1-2lb a week.

Smaller portions on smaller plates (so it still looks a full plate) + absolutely no snacking/soft drinks/coffee with milk - try herbal teas. I can loose 10lb over 2-3 months this way with zero effort.

I gave up sugar. I wasn't too strict, as in, wouldn't reject bread with it in and still had the odd glass of wine, but I cut out all sweet food, no sugar in drinks, no biscuits etc bought baked beans and cereals that were sugar free. No desserts. I lost 1.5 stone in about 3 months. Felt utterly fabulous in many other ways too. Went back on the sugar last Xmas so all the weights back on, I'm starting my sugar free me again today.

Weighed myself this morning - I need to lose a stone 😲

OP look at your diet and eating habits. Try to cut out junk food and sugar. Are you eating out of boredom at night (me!) ?

Eat enough - that may be more than you are eating now or more regularly. Cutting down is fine but if it leads to binging later in the day if you're starving it's counter productive.

Increase water intake.

Good luck!!
