I am wanting advice on where to buy ozempic, I have enquired privately and far too expensive, is this dangerous without medical advice, I am overweight by 2 stone and like most people eat the wrong things and sat down to work so not much exercise, any advice or reviews would be much appreciated. Thanks Michelle

I think you've got to be at least 3 stone overweight to use it.

I do know people that have had it prescribed online though and were under that ( they fibbed ).

I take it for t2 diabetes and it does have some side effects.

I haven't started yet, hoping to in the new year. But there's a really good thread just below yours 'I started Ozempic last night' that has loads of information and personal stories so might help

I'm not there stone overweight. I wanted it but didn't want to lie. My BMI is 27 but I've put on a stone I want to get on top of which I again told the truth about.

Is it possible to get ozempic on the NHS from the GP for weight lost my BMI is 29.1

Do you think the GP will prescribe it it I ask?

Nuca · 07/12/2023 15:02

@weightlossnow you can only get Ozempic on the NHS if you are diabetic. You can get Wegovy if you have a BMI over 30 and weight related health conditions such as hypertension or cardiovascular disease

weightlossnow · 07/12/2023 19:30

Oh really, I am hypersensitive and on medication for it for over 8 years now. Perhaps I should discuss with my GP
