Ideas for healthy breakfasts and lunches meal planning

I'm trying to lose quite a lot of weight, mainly through exercise, but of course food plays a part. I've fallen into a boring rut of eating the same foods and I'm bored of them. I want to do some forward-planning for meals and I'm looking for inspiration for breakfasts and lunches. It doesn't need to be anything fancy, it's more that I need a bit of variety.
My go-to meals are porridge with banana for breakfast, and toast with scrambled egg or tinned sardines/mackerel for lunch and cherry tomatoes for lunch. Inspire me with your breakfast and lunches please!

Can’t help with breakfast as I’m doing 16:8 so don’t eat it! My go to work lunch though is a head of broccoli or tendersten broccoli if I’m feeling flush with a pre cooked salmon fillet - I get a smoked chilli one from Lidl. I stick these in a Tupperware with a drizzle of soy and sweet chilli sauce then nuke for 5 mins in the microwave. If it got calories to spare I put 10g of toasted almonds on top too.

That sounds delicious! Adding it to my list, thanks.

Overnight oats for breakfast (0% fat Greek yoghurt with 20g oats and some raspberries or grated apple, splash of milk) Don't need to leave them overnight, I often just leave them an hour or two.
Smoothie? Spinach, milk or water, frozen berries, Greek yoghurt

Lunch - stir fry a load of veg and have with some lean protein - chicken/fish. Or make a batch of soup and have it every day! I often do that and it makes life so easy!

Love the idea of doing the oats with yoghurt. I have always used milk and never thought of anything else.
Can you freeze batches of soup? Does it come out ok when defrosted?

Yes it's fine, sometimes separates a bit as it's defrosting but simmer it for a bit and it will be fine. I'm not a big fan of meat in soups but need protein with every meal so often have some on the side or just have a protein shake along side my soup!
