Weight loss after C-section

Has anyone got any advice on losing weight after emergency C-section please xx little man is 10wks tomorrow and I absolutely hate how my stomach looks to the point I do my best not to look in the mirror. I know it sounds stupid but it went down to a couple of inches off my original weight by five weeks but I had to stop breast feeding to restart my medication and since then my stomach has just started swelling back up again xx I'm eating less and my medication is not responsible as they are just immune suppressants so don't effect my weight. I also was wondering how long it took others to stop bleeding as I've brought it up with my doctor a few times and he just says it takes everyone different time to recover. I'd really appreciate any advice.

Be careful doing anything to hard-core at this stage- a c section is major surgery!

So far I've only been doing housework and walking.

What do you feel is wrong with your stomach? Do you fear there is a c section overhang/pouch or are you bloating?

Trust me, ten weeks is absolutely nothing in c-section recovery. My tummy was very round at that point - 3 months on and it is pretty flat, if looser than it was. I was advised not to do cardio until 18 weeks. If you can try and be gentle on yourself as well as patient, it will seem very different a few weeks from now. Congratulations on your lovely baby.

Both I guess.

That long???
They just said don't have sex for six weeks and take it easy.
My boss told me not to hoover.
My first two were natural and I was able to breastfeed so I bounced back by four weeks so I just doubled that amount because of it being a C-section.

I had two c sections, the second was 7 years ago. I've always been a size 8-10, with a six pack pre pregnancy. Nowadays I'm still an 8-10 but I have a c section overhang that I will never get rid of without surgery because I have adhesions (the scar is anchored to the muscles underneath so it looks like it's stapled to me iykwim. I would say take it slowly and focus on massaging your scar to try to prevent adhesions because if you get them it's hard to end up with a flat scar.
