Any suggestions as to what to put in it.

I have two small children so i'll obviously have to buy stuff for them.

Have just arranged with hubby to eat separately in the week (me with boys - him when he comes home) as we tend to eat less that way.

Thing is - it's been so long since i've really gone for a diet that i've lost my way a bit.

Jus tread this back - Is the answer to this question - put nothing in it for you love???

On the contrary, I would say make sure you have lots of bags of frozen veg so there is no excuse to make a meal with no veg in it.

Fish and lean cuts of meat.

No ice cream.

No ready meals but leave space for freezing your own food. eg tomato sauce, home made soups...

Then if you don't feel like cooking you can just make simple healthy meals like pasta with tomato sauce and broccoli

I've not actually had to try to lose alot of weight but the above seems logical for healthy eating.

batches of healthy soup s when you have nothing to eat you can deforst oneinstead of getting the takeaway menu out!

home made curry or dahl, again you just have to cook the rice

I've got home made fish and shepherds pies and homemade burgers - more for ds1 and dh than myself.
home made tomato sauce for pasta.
(I'm not exceptionally virtuous, just make extra)
loads of veg, inc some bags of steam fresh ones for extra lazy days.
salmon
tuna steaks
chicken drumsticks
chicken fillets
