Need to lose the baby weight

I’m still a stone and a half overweight still 4 months after birth to my first baby. I was half a stone overweight to begin with so a stone to lose to get to pre baby weight which isn’t horrific I guess.
With tiredness I’m finding it extremely hard to steer clear from carbs and sugar as I need the energy…. Any tips??

I tried various diets when i was post partum but honestly the only thing that truly works is calorie control.

i could still eat what i wanted as long as I stayed within the recommended guidelines.

some says my calories would be used on crisps and chocolate only cause thats what i wanted but mostly I found i managed to eat healthy meals.

lots of walking helped too, its a great exercise esp with a young baby and I love this kind of weather for walking. Put on an audiobook/podcast and get walking. I could walk for so long like this.

Also remember you are only 4 months in, your hormones are still going crazy, give yourself time for your body to recover, enjoy the baby days and when you’re ready start your healthy lifestyle.

good luck!

You are only 4 months post partum!
Be kind to your self, you don't need to loose any weight right now.
Tiredness hormones, breastfeeding if you are, adjusting to your new life as a mother etc etc etc
You have a lot going on, chill on the 'baby weight' - it doesn't matter.
Congratulations Flowers

Youre only 4 months post birth, dont worry about losing the weight now. Enjoy time with your baby.
Im 10months post birth and I am heavier now than when I was full term pregnant?!
I lost about 1.5stone in early pregnancy (hyperemesis) so by full term, i weighed less than before I was pregnant somehow?

Ive been awful with my diet, lots of take aways for ease, tea with sugar, snacks etc.
Its dawned on me now that Im returning to work soon and need to do something about it.
So now I need to eat better and get out more for a while!
