Been weight watching , calorie counting for several months. Lost quite a bit initially going from size 24 to size 18. Now on a plateau and scales barely move. I am 5 ft 6 and now weigh just under 15 stone. I will carry on but it is demotivating! I am so diligent and write down everything I eat. Sorry for the moan!

Have you recalculated your tdee since you first Started? As you have lost so much weight -congratulations btw, that’s a really big loss-you need to occasionally recalculate as you will need less.

your TDEE is the amount of calories to stay the weight you are now, reduce the total by 15-20% for a weight loss target. Don’t be too disheartened though, sometimes you will stay the same for a couple of weeks and then suddenly drop again.

You will get there, focus on how much you have already lost and how good you look & feel.
